Stakeholder Engagement
Customers are at the centre of our business. We develop plans and improve our services every day by listening, understanding and responding to customer needs and expectations.
We do this with a clear focus to deliver services that are in the long-term interests of our customers, and with the belief that stakeholder engagement is critical for us to run a successful business. We want to make sure that we conduct ourselves in a manner that is consistent with your long-term interests. At AGIG, we pride ourselves on the way we conduct customer and stakeholder engagement activities across the country to develop our future plans, and to improve services on a daily basis.
Our major stakeholder engagement programs follow the regulatory cycle for gas distribution and transmission in as required in the relevant states we operate.
Every five years, we submit plans to our economic regulators, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) in South Australia and Victoria, and Economic Regulation Authority (ERA) in Western Australia. Through extensive engagement programs with our stakeholders and customers, we develop plans and expenditure proposals that are submitted to the respective regulators in each state for acceptance and adoption.
